Surfer Hero

I visited Hospitals Reef twice in as many weeks - three times including my last San Diego workshop. On this evening, the rising tides were spilling over the potholes, reflecting the clouds above. The surfers were also coming out - a surf advisory called for higher than usual waves. I think surfers and photographers are kindred spirits in this regard. When weather forecasts call for "dangerous" surf, we head to the beach, not away from it.

This photo is one of a few I've been using to develop a post processing video course. The course is still a few months away from completion. Yet I'm so excited about it I had to tease it a little here. Stay tuned... if things go to plan, I'll have more details to share in July to my newsletter subscribers. You're signed up, right?
