In The Field: Don't Leave Sunset Early #110
All too often I see photographers pack up their gear and leave right after the sun drops below the horizon. Don’t leave early! The sky can light up 15 to 30 minutes after the sunset. Experience that at your location with your composition before you… not from the parking area loading gear into your car.
If I'd left early, I would have missed this brilliant sky at Sunset Cliffs. This is one of the locations we'll be shooting at in my San Diego Coastlines Photo Workshop. Spaces for the late April workshop are still available!
